Some time ago we shared with you the intention of Kenji Hirataone of the developers of Skies of Arcadia, to create a sequel. Today we get news about the franchise.
Apparently, it is a rumor of the series in the form of a remaster. This is what we have learned on the subject:
The information comes from Xbox Era, where it is mentioned “that the next classic SEGA IP to receive the full remaster treatment will be the critically acclaimed action role-playing game, Skies of Arcadia, which launched on the SEGA Dreamcast and Nintendo GameCube in 2000.” .SEGA has not ruled on the subject at the moment. What we do know is that SEGA has been wanting to revitalize IP from the past and with a retro character for some time, so this could be a good opportunity.
