The specimen you see in the studio, kindly lent to us by one of our users, has been equipped with a modello Double Fire Titanium, characterized by stainless steel collectors on which a silencer has been mounted, precisely in titanium with a carbon end cap. The latter, however, can be chosen in different materials: carbon, titanium and black titanium.
This is a possibility of choice which is essentially reserved for all products and which depends precisely on that craftsmanship in the creations we were talking about a moment ago. The relationship extremely direct between company and consumerin fact, allows Roadsitalia to have great agility in producing what best satisfies the needs of its users.
A closeness that is also demonstrated by the choice not to have intermediaries and physical shops, but to sell their products exclusively online, on their own website, to the full advantage of the final price. But the terminals are not the only components that can be chosen according to your preferences. In fact, even the db killers are supplied in two variants: the standard db killer he db killer “no noise”. The latter is the one that allows the exhausts to be approved and is characterized by the presence, inside, of a “mesh” layer, capable of ensuring greater absorption of sound waves. A set-up that amazed me in any case for the apparent freedom with which the exhaust “sounded and muttered” despite compliance with the homologation standards.
The MT-07 was punchy in the bass, without unnecessarily squealing in the treble. A pleasant sound, often accompanied by pops when released.
Prices chapter. For the products presented in this Review – which refer to the small Yamaha, but which can well give you a parameter of the average prices offered by Roadsitalia – we start from 253 Euros for the single terminal. For a double terminal, the price is 407 euros, while for a complete system, the basic price is 371 euros. The titanium Double Fire mounted on the studio specimen has a list price of 607 Euros, but is currently available at a 25% discount.
