Respawn Entertainment has opened a third studio to support the development of Apex Legends, the golden egg battle royale produced by Electronic Arts. As reported in the columns of GamesIndustrythis development studio is based in Madison, Wisconsin (USA), and is directed by Ryan Burnett, former director of engine production at Epic Games.
With the opening of a new branch office, Respawn Entertainment aims to support the Apex Legends franchise for at least another ten to fifteen years. Madison’s team will take care of the live service operations of the battle royale in particular, but it is not excluded that in the future she may also contribute to other projects.
Finally, we recall that Respawn is not only working on Apex Legends: it will see the light in a few weeks Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, for which a new trailer has just been released.
