Respawn Entertainment has announced the opening of a third studio in Wisconsin, precisely in Madison. It will be managed by Ryan Burnettan industry veteran with over twenty years of experience working for the Raven Software and the Epic Games.
In a press release, the senior vice president of operations of Respawn Entertainment daniel suarez said: “It has been our belief since day one that Respawn is not a singular place, but a mindset: when passionate and talented people are given creative freedom, they will achieve the unexpected.”
“This vision has helped us successfully expand into Vancouver in 2019, and as the workplace has evolved, it has helped us continue to work with the best the gaming industry has to offer, whether in the office, remote or hybrid”.
“We see Respawn’s mentality reflected in Madison, which has cemented itself as one of the great game development cities not only in the United States, but throughout the world. That is why we have worked closely and we appreciate the assistance of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) to facilitate the growth of the firm in Madison.”
Suarez claims that the new subsidiary will cooperate with the other existing Respawn Entertainment teams, residing in Los Angeles and Vancouver, for the battle royale Apex Legends to position itself as the first on the market.
