Resident Evil 4 Remake was launched worldwide on March 24th PC tramite Steam, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One e Xbox Series X/S and has garnered widespread acclaim from critics and gamers alike. Unsurprisingly, that level of success is also reflected in the game’s sales.
Capcom ha announced that the remake sold over 3 million units in just two days of its release. This means that its sales are surpassing what other recent Resident Evil games have managed. Resident Evil Village of 2021 has sold 3 million units at launchalthough it took more than two days to do it while the remake of Resident Evil 2 of 2019 sold over 3 million units in the first week. The game also has debuted at the top of the UK weekly charts for physical game sales and enjoyed the series’ biggest ever launch on Steam.
In the meantime, there is still a lot of fan content from the remake yet to come in the game. The Mercenaries mode will be added as free DLC on April 7th . Recent datamining leaks have revealed character renders, as well as descriptions of the mode’s playable characters and levels. Plus, they’re in the works too Free exclusive content for PlayStation VR2. Leaks claimed that the Ada Wong-focused campaign Separate Ways will also be released as Paid DLCevidence of which has also apparently surfaced courtesy of recent datamining.
