The release of Resident Evil 4 Remake is just around the corner. The Chainsaw Demo is out now, and unlike other demos, it has no game time. You can enjoy as much as you want from a game section that covers around 20-30 mins going at a normal pace. However, I don’t think anyone has the patience to be playing the demo until the March 24th.
So the question is: how can you best prepare for the new apocalypse that is coming your way? Resident Evil 4 Remake? The obvious answer is to play all of Resident Evil, including the spin-offs… but I’m sorry to say that I doubt you’ll have the time.
The main games of the resident evil franchise They are the following, but remember that there are some more:

Resident Evil 5 (2009)

How to prepare for the launch of Resident Evil 4 Remake without giving up trying?
If you don’t have a lot of time, but you want to prepare for the launch of Resident Evil 4 Remake, then I recommend two games in the saga: Resident Evil 2 Remake and Resident Evil 3 Remake, since this new installment belongs to the new collection of remakes. Their features are similar, although there are some differences.
Resident Evil 2 Remake should be the first game for your preparation. This adventure includes a main story, which can be seen from the perspective of Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield, and The Ghost Survivors mode. The stories of Leon S. Kennedy and including 4 stories alternatives with special zombies.
Stories by Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield: each one has an average duration of 8-10 hours. It’s essentially the same plot, but each character has different weapons, sequences, documents, collectibles, and exclusive sections (last part of the police station, mid-game zone, and last stretch).
no regrets: You play as Robert Kendo, the owner of the Kendo armory.
runaway: You play as Katherine Warren, the daughter of the mayor of Raccoon City, who goes to the police chief for help… only to find a predator she believed to be a savior.
Forgotten Soldier: You play as Hunk, an Umbrella soldier who entered the NEST labs to recover the G-Virus. Now your goal is to survive.
No Exit: This story is unlocked by completing the previous three. We play the Sheriff whose car we see at the gas station at the beginning of the main story. A true survival arena.
Resident Evil 3 Remake should be your second stop in your training for Resident Evil 4 Remake. It is located 24 hours before the events of Resident Evil 2 Remake and includes scenarios that you will have already seen in the latter. And what are you going to find in this game?
The main story includes two characters, Jill Valentine y Carlos Oliveira, but in Resident Evil 3 Remake they are interspersed in the story instead of having two separate stories. You can’t choose. The story is significantly shorter, being able to be finished in an average of 6-8 hours, even in 4 hours for the fastest. It does not include The Ghost Survivors or The Other Survivors, but it does include the multiplayer called Project Resistance. In Resident Evil 3 Remake you can perform dodges and lunges (Jill and Carlos respectively), you can’t close windows, you can’t use weapons to get out of the grips (grenades or knives) and now you have to mash a button to resist; and the knives have infinite durability. Also, it focuses more on action than horror.
These two games Resident Evil 2 Remake y Resident Evil 3 Remake they should give you about 30-35 hours of gameplay total (give or take). Its duration and gameplay similar to Resident Evil 4 Remake should be enough training to face the new zombie apocalypse.
And you want to know the best of everything? You can get them both at a reduced price. If you don’t mind having them digitally and you are reading this post before Resident Evil 4 Remake is released, you should know that there is a pack called Raccoon City Edition, which includes Resident Evil 2 Remake, Resident Evil 3 Remake and Resident Evil Resistance, including next-gen versions. all for 14,99 euros en PC (Steam), PlayStation y Xbox.
