Resident Evil 4 Remake is finally here after a long wait. Unfortunately, the PlayStation 5 version debuted with an annoying issue that could affect your gaming experience. Capcom revealed that the title occasionally displays flickering lights at the bottom of the screen.
As you can imagine, this is awkward and can ruin an exciting gaming session. Fortunately, Capcom is already working on a definitive fix for the problem, which will be released in a future update. However, the update does not yet have a date. For this reason, Capcom gave some tips to avoid the inconvenience and also apologized to the players.

How to avoid the annoying flickering lights in Resident Evil 4 Remake?
As of this writing, this annoying issue has only been reported on the PlayStation 5 version of the game. If you are already enjoying the remake on Sony console and it happens to you, then there are a few steps you need to take to avoid it.
Capcom’s first recommendation is to save your gameplay and restart the game. This should be enough to clear the error, but not completely, as there is a chance it could happen again at a later time. If the above does not work, then you will need to make some adjustments to the game settings:
Turn off the depth of field option from the Display menu Activate the Motion Blur option in the Camera menu
This should also temporarily fix the issue and help you enjoy the game properly until the update arrives to fully resolve the issue. Some players claim on social media that they haven’t experienced this error so far, so hopefully you won’t have to do any of the above settings.
“We are aware of an issue where players may experience flickering lights at the bottom of the screen when playing the PS5 version of Resident Evil 4. We will fix the issue in a future update and apologize for any inconvenience!”, Capcom stated.
