The demo recently released for il remake di Resident Evil 4called Chainsaw Demo has a secret difficulty mode. As reported by Eurogamerplayers have found that by completing the demo once they can try again with a new mode “on extreme difficulty”, titled Mad Chainsaw Mode.
The new difficulty mode is accessible for a single match after completing the demo once. If you want to try Mad Chainsaw mode again, you will have to wait difficulty mode will unlock again. The demo also states that the Mad Chainsaw mode is exclusive to the Resident Evil 4 remake demo and will not be featured in the full game.
The mode unlock seems to have less to do with completing the demo and more to do with randomness. The difficulty mode it seems to fire up randomly every time you start the demo. The latter is characterized by stronger enemies and by a different positioning of the various enemies. Also missing are checkpoints and the game’s first chainsaw-based enemy – Dr. Salvador – it will be on fire when it appears in the demo.
The Resident Evil 4 remake demo went live earlier this week and is available on PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. The game will be released on all platforms on March 24th
