Suara.com – The Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) admitted that he did not know for sure regarding the findings of an Rp. 300 trillion odd transaction that occurred at the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) and the Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DJBC).
“Until now, we, especially the Inspectorate General, have not received the information of Rp. 300 trillion,” said Ministry of Finance Inspector General Awan Nurmawan Nuh at a press conference in Jakarta, Wednesday (8/3/2023).
Nevertheless, Awan ensured that his party would check the reports that he knew from the news.
“We know about this (transaction) problem from the news, we will check it,” he said.

Previously, the Financial Transaction and Analysis Reporting Center (PPATK) said that the findings revealed by the Coordinating Minister for Politics, Law and Security (Menko Polhukam) Mahfud MD regarding the alleged irregular financial transactions of the Director General of Taxes and Director General of Customs and Excise had been submitted to the Ministry of Finance.
Mahfud admitted that he received a report regarding the financial transactions of the Director General of Taxes and the Director General of Customs and Excise, which had a fantastic value of IDR 300 trillion.
Head of PPATK Ivan Yustiavandana said that they conveyed this information to the Ministry of Finance in the form of analysis results.
“We have submitted information on the results of the analysis to the Ministry of Finance from 2009 to 2023,” Ivan said, confirmed by Suara.com, Wednesday (8/3/2023).

Mahfud MD previously revealed that the movement of money at the Director General of Taxes and the Director General of Customs and Excise reached IDR 300 trillion which was suspected of being suspicious. The head of the Money Laundering Eradication Team (TPPU) admitted that he received the report on Wednesday (8/3/2023).
“Yesterday there were 69 people with a value of not even trillions, only hundreds of billions. Today, around Rp. 300 trillion has been found again, it must be traced,” said Mahfud.
He emphasized that the information conveyed was not fake news or hoax. For him it is important to convey that information to the public.
“What I’m saying is not a hoax, there is written data,” he said.
