The creator of electrocumbia, Raymix, is celebrating by launching his new album called “Mi Otra Mitad” in physical and digital format, made up of 13 songs produced by himself, in addition to having special participations by artists from different genres adapting to the style of the cumbia to magnify each of the songs.
“Mi Otra Mitad” is a very special album for Raymix where he presents his alter ego Edmundo Gomez for the first time, showing sensitivity, creation, and to a certain extent the transparency of the artist, without the dark glasses and the cap that has characterized him during their presentations.
This new project includes love songs such as “Supernova”, “Los Caminos Del Amor”, the melodic “Mi Otra Mitad”, “Imposible”; heartbreak like “3 Minutos” with Mariana Seoane, “Desvelo” with C-Kan, “Nada” and the radio hit “El Final De Nuestra Historia” accompanied by Grupo Quintanna, as well as casual songs like “55” with the queen bee, Chiquis, “Nunca Tristes Remix”, “Cruda” with Maria León and more.
It is worth mentioning that in this new material Raymix includes two special songs outside of electrocumbia: “Addicted to Your Body” a bacha where he shares talent with Gera Demara and a dance song with Mi$HNRZ called “Delorean Remix”.
The single that gives this album its name is a cumbia ballad where Raymix recounts the sensations that being happy with yourself induces, having the satisfaction of being with the other person who complements both your soul and your plans. This theme is accompanied by a video clip recorded in Mazatlán showing the joy caused by feeling the emotion of falling in love.
