– 1 tsp garlic powder
– 1/4 tsp salt
– 1/4 tsp broth powder
– 1/4 tsp ground pepper
– 5 tsp cornstarch
– Enough water
– 500 gr of chicken feet
– 3 pieces of tofu
– 1 spring onion
– 5 red onions
– 4 cloves garlic
– 6 bird’s eye chilies
– 10 curly red chilies
– 1 tomato
– Enough cooking oil
– 500 ml of water
– 3 tbsp chili sauce
– 2 tsp sugar
– 1/2 tsp salt
– 1/2 tsp broth powder
– A pinch of ground pepper
How to make:
1. Mix garlic powder, salt, broth powder, ground pepper, and cornstarch in a bowl.
2. Add water little by little while stirring until it forms a thick dough.
3. Smear the chicken feet with the mixture and let it soak for 10-15 minutes.
4. Cut the tofu into small cubes and thinly slice the green onions.
5. Heat cooking oil in a pan and fry the chicken feet until cooked and browned. Drain and set aside.
6. In the same pan, sauté shallots, garlic, bird’s eye chilies, and curly red chilies until fragrant.
7. Add the mashed tomatoes and sauté until the tomatoes are cooked.
8. Add water, chili sauce, sugar, salt, broth powder, and ground pepper. Stir well and let it boil.
9. Put the tofu and chicken claws into the sauce and stir well until all the ingredients are evenly mixed and the gravy thickens.
10. Finally, add the green onions and stir briefly until blended.
11. Serve the claws and tofu in a bowl and sprinkle with sliced green onions as a garnish.
