The episode occurred on February 23 last year
According to Goal.com, the PSV fan who recently attacked the Sevilla goalkeeper after making a pitch invasion Marko Dmitrovic in a Europa League match, he was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment.
It is a 20-year-old fan who took to the field at the end of the match during PSV-Seville on 23 February and punched the goalkeeper in the face. The full-back was unhurt and dragged the attacker himself off the pitch before he was finally escorted from the stadium by the stewards.
The fan was then condemned to three months in prison, one of which the man will be in probation. The match in question ended with the success of Sevilla who eliminated PSV Eindhoven and therefore reached the round of 16 of the Europa League, where they will meet the Fenerbahce.
