Suara.com – Sad news came from the world of Indonesian badminton. The future athlete of the country, Syabda Perkasa Belawa died due to an accident on the Pemalang toll road, Central Java on Monday (20/3/2023) early morning WIB.
This news was confirmed by the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) through uploads on social media. They expressed their condolences on the death of Syabda Perkasa Belawa.
“The PP PBSI extended family expresses its deepest condolences for the passing of one of Indonesia’s young athletes, Syabda Perkasa Belawa (21 years) in an accident on the Pemalang (Central Java) toll road, Monday (20/3) early morning.”
Prior to PBSI, the former Indonesian badminton player and general chairman of the Kudus PBSI Pengkab, Yuni Kartika, had more to do with conveying the sad news through her Instagram account.

“He has passed away, Syabda Perkasa Belawa,” wrote Yuni Kartika in a photo upload showing herself with Sabda.
“Syabda died on his way to Sragen for a pilgrimage because his grandmother passed away.”
“Goodbye Syabda. You will be missed.”

Syabda is one of Indonesia’s future men’s singles athletes. He last competed in the Iran Fajr International Challenge 2023 last February and was able to come out as champion.
Sabda’s death is sad news for the world of Indonesian badminton after on February 27 2023 the young badminton player Az-Zahra Putri Dania was also left behind who died due to illness.
