Suara.com – 10 Manchester United players drew 0-0 with the bottom-ranked team, Southampton in Week 27 of the Premier League at Old Trafford, Sunday (12/3/2023) evening WIB. The host team, Manchester United, had lost a number of players since the 34th minute after Casemiro was sent off by the referee.
With this draw, Manchester United are stuck in third place in the 2022/2023 Premier League standings with a collection of 50 points from 26 matches, only two points ahead of the fourth-placed team, Tottenham Hotspur, who have played 27 times.
Meanwhile, Southampton remain slumped in 20th place with pocketed 22 points from 26 matches, two points away from the safety zone.
At Old Trafford, in the 34th minute, Casemiro was immediately sent off by the bald referee, Anthony Taylor.

The Brazilian anchor midfielder made a hard tackle on Southampton attacking midfielder Carlos Alcaraz then the referee showed a yellow card.
However, Casemiro was finally rewarded with a red card after checking through VAR.
Overall, the 10 Manchester United players only had 46 percent possession compared to bottom team Southampton’s 54 percent.
The visitors also had 17 attempted shots, compared to Manchester United’s 10. But speaking of shots at goal, both teams have the same number of four.
