Phil Spencer has spoken again about the exclusive games that will be released on Xbox from the recently acquired studios. All this comes as a result of the commotion generated by Call of Duty, the Activision game that is creating a great deal of controversy around its acquisition. Nintendo and Nvidia have already signed a 10-year agreement that commits Microsoft to launch future games in the series on their platforms, an agreement similar to the one offered to Sony, although the latter have rejected it for now.
As a result of everything that happened with Call of Duty, the name of Starfield has been mentioned again. This game had already been confirmed as an Xbox and PC exclusive, leaving out PlayStation consoles. It is evident that Microsoft wants to have high-quality exclusive games and that has been confirmed by Spencer, who pointed out that having Starfield as an exclusive is important for the marketing of its consoles.

In a conversation with the Xbox On YouTube channel, Spencer explained that they never promised or claimed they would bring Starfield to Sony consoles, noting that since they bought Bethesda, they haven’t pulled any games from their stores nor do they seem to have any intention of doing so. As important points, the Head of Xbox said that Starfield never promised to go to PlayStation and never promised to release all Bethesda games on PlayStation, that exclusive games are part of the marketing of the console, that it will determine which game will be exclusive, and that no Bethesda’s current game was pulled from PlayStation.
