ViX has announced the start of filming in San Luis Potosi from the authorized bioseries of the idol Pedro Infante. the new production “His name was Pedro Infante” is starring mario moran (“Do not stain Frida”, “Passion and power”) and Ana Claudia Talancon (“The Shelter”, “Perfect Strangers”) and will tell the story of an ordinary young man who finds the strength and inspiration to become a legend.

“Pedro Infante was called” begins in 1917, in a remote town in Sinaloa where a poor child with no future is born. Alejandro Bazzano (“Antics of the Bad Girl”, “The paper house”) and Sergio Siruela (“Heirs by Accident,” “Campaign Promises”) join as directors. Alexa Muñoz Vidaña (“Buscando la banda Timbiriche,” “Magnificent 5”) is associate executive producer and Guillermo Ríos and María José Mochales are the scriptwriters of the epic series.

He 70% of recordings of “It was called Pedro Infante” will take place in San Luis Potosí. Other locations will include Hidalgo and Mexico City.
