Square Enix has announced that its new adventure wrapped in a supernatural mystery in single-player PARANORMASIGHT The Seven Mysteries of Honjo is available from today on Nintendo Switch, PC tramite Steam, iOS e Android.
The title is set during the Shōwa era (1926-89) in Sumida Ward, Tokyo, brings to life the seven mysteries of Honjo with the unique style of a 2D visual novel. This collection of chilling ghost stories revolves around various protagonists who have the power to curse. The player will investigate the mysteries of Honjo from the point of view of various cursed characters. During the day it will be possible to explore very disturbing areas of the city, solving puzzles and finding clues that will help us clarify the mysteries behind these seven deadly curses. At night, we should hunt or flee from other curse bearers who will hunt us down. In this supernatural adventure, there will be a need to master the powers and at the same time try not to fall into the traps of others.
Shogo Okiiean ordinary employee, visit Kinshibori park late at night with her friend Yoko Fukunaga to investigate an urban legend about ghosts: the seven mysteries of Honjo. Shogo doesn’t believe Yoko when she talks about the connection between the mysteries and a resurrection ritual. She doesn’t pay much attention until strange things start happening right in front of her eyes. But the two of them aren’t the only ones investigating the seven mysteries. Various detectives investigate a series of strange deaths, a high school student investigates her classmate’s suicide, and a mother vows revenge for the loss of her son. With the seven mysteries of Honjo at its core, their desires and reasons intertwine as the story progresses between sanity and curses.
