The filmmaker from Guadalajara Guillermo del Toro once again left Mexico high, since he won the third Oscar Award of his career and for that the Mexican National Team congratulated him.
“Congratulations to Guillermo del Toro for winning the Oscar for Best Animated Film!” Reads the Tricolor’s Twitter account.
Guillermo del Toro won the Oscar for his film dand “Pinocchio”, which was nominated in the Best Animated Feature category. The film outperformed the films Red, Marcel The Shell with Shoes On, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish and Monster from the Sea.
Once it became known that the filmmaker Guillermo del Toro received the statuette at the Oscars ceremony, the Social networks were the means by which they congratulated the Mexican.
The Mexican National Team, in addition to posting the message, made a couple of images dedicated to del Toro’s achievement.
