The celebrities receive a weekly assignment to tackle a challenging space. From making a floor plan to shopping the interior: everything is in the hands of the participants. They then have only two days to realize their plans on location. Here they are faced with the challenge of carrying out the wishes of the client and at the same time showing their own signature.
The ultimate interior dream awaits the finalists: styling a luxury hotel suite in Hotel De l’Europe in Amsterdam.
Co-host, jury member and co-creator of the program Leco van Zadelhoff – himself a pro-amateur in the field of interior design – assesses the work of the participants. Every week he is assisted by a changing interior expert. Together they give the celebrities tips on how to organize and style the location as well as possible. Leco is an experience expert when it comes to interior design. “To be able to show this other side of myself thanks to this program is really an honor. After fourteen moves in 25 years, I can say that interior design has become something more than a hobby that got out of hand.”
For presenter Edson da Graça, this program has been a learning experience. He has gained a lot of inspiration from the designs of the participants and the knowledge of Leco. As a result, he dares to make his own interior more exciting than the ‘safe’ off-white that he normally chooses.
