Netflix will strengthen its gaming strategy this year
According to the details, Netflix plans to add at least 40 games to its catalog throughout this year. With this, subscribers will have access to a total of 86 titles by the end of 2023. The company clarified that 70 of the titles are the responsibility of external partners, while the remaining 16 are in the hands of their studies, so they are internal developments. .
Loombe noted that his strategy is to improve the strategic approach to boost the game portfolio. With this they hope that more users are interested in their gaming proposal. One of the goals is to further promote this initiative and make it both more accessible and visible to its subscribers.
In this sense, the use of cloud gaming will be important, as Loombe wants Netflix games to be able to be enjoyed on a wide variety of devices and everything to be an easily accessible experience for users.
“We want Netflix games to be playable on every Netflix device they have (…) Now we can be more strategic in creating a portfolio of games that appeals to our millions of members. We believe that cloud gaming will allow us to offer easy access to games on any screen, without complications and with accessibility to gaming experiences, “said the directive.
