“To my friends in the media, to my dear fans and valued public, I hereby inform you that, due to the constant statements without truth or foundation, for six years, as well as in recent times and attacks that have resulted in violence, which led to direct threats towards me, I found myself in need of requesting protection measures before a judge, in accordance with the Law on Women’s Access to a Life Free of Violence, which were granted to me,” Myriam said in the statement.
The measures consist “in the prohibition to C. Antonia Salazar (Toña) to carry out behaviors of intimidation and annoyance to my person, this by any means or intermediary person, measures that were granted to me with a permanent character. It was ordered to notify the aforementioned with the warning that, in case of non-compliance with the protection measures decreedregardless of the possible criminal responsibility that may arise, the measures granted to safeguard my integrity and security would be reinforced and a measure of urgency would be awarded.”
