The English company Mutt Motorcycles presents the new DRK 01, an urban classic designed and developed entirely in the headquarters of the House, in Birmingham, following their “modern-classic” approach with a very rigorous construction care. The lines are soft and round, with classic elements such as the teardrop tank with cut side panels to improve its habitability, the round headlight and the saddle in one piece with a raised texture. However, a modern touch is added to these elements due to the LED lights and the cut of the exhaust terminal, with squared lines.
Available with 125 and 250 enginesboth single-cylinder liquid-cooled four-strokes, are respectively credited with 13 CV a 9.500 giri/min. e 25 CV a 9.200 giri/min. while the weights in running order are 147 and 155 kg.
As for the cycling they they share a steel frame and suspension: upside-down fork and double rear shock absorber with adjustable preload. However, the braking system changes: the eighth of a liter relies on a combined system, which activates both calipers even if a single command is pressed, while the 250 is equipped with two-channel ABS.
Mutt Motorcycles DRK 01s will be available from spring 2023. The price is still to be defined, but according to the other models in the Mutt family it should be around 4,000 euros for the eighth of a liter and 5,000 for the 250 cc.
