In this case, we echo the 2022 nPerf Speed Test report to see which has been the operator that has had the best overall performance in our country within mobile networks throughout the last year. Among the operators that have been included in this study, we find Movistar, Orange, Vodafone, Digi and MásMóvil/Yoigo.
Mobile connections in Spain
In this case, we have used the report published by the well-known mobile app nPerf Speed Test that it has carried out throughout the previous year, from January 1 to December 31. During 2022, app users have carried out a total of 193,357 mobile Internet connection tests in Spain. Therefore, in this way, it has been possible determine overall performance of the five major operators in our country.
Download and upload speed
In terms of download speed, Movistar is the mobile operator that has given some faster internet connections to users (64.86 Mbps). Below, we find the rest of the operators in this order: Orange (49.27 Mbps), Vodafone (44.10 Mbps), Digi (40.68 Mbps) and MásMóvil (39.96 Mbps). From what we see that the blue operator is a big step ahead of its competitors.
Regarding the upload speed on mobile networks, Movistar is once again ahead, followed by Vodafone, Orange, Digi and MásMóvil/Yoigo. Once again, we can see how the group MásMóvilsince Yoigo is also included, he is back in last position.
Latency in the mobile network
As for the analysis that has been leaked from user tests on their mobile networks, we find that Orange is in first position with 46.16 ms, followed closely by Movistar with 46.64 ms. Then come Vodafone (49.79 ms), MásMóvil/Yoigo (49.91 ms), and Digi (54.62 ms).
In addition to the download and upload speeds, and the latency of the mobile networks of the five large operators in Spain during 2022, it has also been taken into account in this report. a streaming test. Regarding video streaming (YouTube has been taken into account), the blue operator takes the lead with 84.04%.
