Disqualified for two days, the Portuguese coach awaits the decision of the Sports Court on the appeal
The judgment of the Sporting Court on the Mourinho case will arrive only tomorrow. That is, the Portuguese coach will be able to hope to sit on the bench again for one night against Juventus on Sunday, even if the precedents would direct the sentence towards reducing the disqualification to one day, and not the two imposed by the Sports Judge. The particularity of the situation, however, authorizes a margin of uncertainty, because a “quarrel” like the one between Marco Serra – fourth official in Cremonese Rome – and the Portuguese coach had never been seen.

In fact, the videos and audios are facilitating the investigation conducted by the federal prosecutor Giuseppe Chiné, who today listened to both the Giallorossi club’s referee delegate, Vito Scala, and Serra himself, via video link from Coverciano. However, it will take a few more days to close the investigation. At that point, the referee designator, Rocchi, will also have an overview of the situation and will be able to decide on Serra’s future employment (or not). But the spotlights are on Mourinho, who will know the verdict tomorrow morning.
