Alex Marquez set the fastest time in the first free practice session of the 2023 Portuguese Grand Prix.
Behind him, Joan Mir, making his debut with the factory Honda, ahead of the Ducati Mooney VR46 duo made up of Luca Marini and Marco Bezzecchi, respectively third and fourth at 140 and 236 thousandths from the lead.
In the Top 10 also Fabio Quartararo, the world champion Francesco Bagnaia and Marc Marquez.
