Portimao – One of many consequences (negative) of the introduction of the SprintRace is the cancellation of the Moto3 and Moto2 warm up and the reduction of the MotoGP time to 10 minutes.
But ten minutes are essential per Fabio Quartararowhich right at the beginning of the session had to park his M1 at turn 5 due to an alarm going off on the dashboard. That’s why the warm up would be essential even for minor categories.
For the rest, little can be said, except that Quartararo himself then finished with the second half: he has the pace to do a good race, but starting from behind it will be complicated. Yesterday his race was spoiled by Joan Mirwhich was penalized with an LLP to be carried out today in the race: HRC appealed (the much-criticized team manager Alberto Puig did what he had to do), but it was rejected.
Alex Marquez was the fastest: until now it has always gone pretty well, except in the decisive moments. But in the race it can be done again. After the warm up, all the riders from the public according to the new MotoGP format. Let’s see how it works.
