Exactly how much money will be made available is still unknown. The cabinet is giving 15.8 million euros to the Food Safety Net Foundation, the Red Cross and the Poverty Fund to distribute more food, clothing, school supplies and therefore menstrual products. At the beginning of this month, a majority in the House urged more action by the cabinet to combat poverty. The CPB then said that next year almost a million people will fall below the poverty line if there is no new support policy for that group.
