The tribute can be found in the Limburg holiday park Kasteeldomein De Cauburg. It will be unveiled on Sunday in the presence of Paulusma’s family. The sundial was made by a blacksmith from Surhuizum.
Although Paulusma was a proud Frisian – the whole of the Netherlands now knows what the words ‘oant moarn’ mean – he often spent holidays in the south of the country. “He loved Limburg and visited our holiday park very often,” says employee Fanny of Kasteeldomein De Cauburg. Paulusma has also often presented his weather forecast from the Cauberg.
The monument can also be visited by people who do not stay in the park.
