The statements of Massimiliano Mirabelli, sporting director of Padova
During Palermo Football Conferencean event that welcomes various sports personalities including managers and lawyers in collaboration with the University of Palermo and the LUMSA University, Massimiliano spoke Mirabelli. The manager, currently sports director and manager of the technical area of Padua, focused on his possible landing at Palermo in the past. Below, and his statements:
“Padova it’s a big square, I don’t denigrate Serie C and I try to do my best. We need to try to find more centrality in the role of sporting director. There is less dialogue today and this figure is losing more and more strength and this is not good. Things must be changed from within, each of us will have to try to work so that this figure becomes central again. DS Palermo two years ago? I had meetings with President Mirri, it could almost have been done. Palermo is an important square, I would have loved it. I started from the bottom, it’s not easy. From promotion to Serie A, all I need is to win the championship from B to A. The fact that I initially made many amateur teams was my university. I haven’t found any particular difficulties, it helps you to start from the bottom. Milan? At Milan there was little time to organize ourselves. Many teams need a project and a longer duration. It was thought that after the sale of Berlusconi we would have more time. We had a young team and after that good things and less good things happen. We managed not to lose any player from the XI, then Milan lost Donnarumma, Chala and Kessie. When you lose zero players of this caliber it’s never a good thing.”
