The police report that a person who was wanted was arrested last night on Kemperlandstraat, near Den Bosch station. The suspect’s car was stopped there, police said.
Heli over Den Bosch
Earlier in the evening, a pursuit from Limburg took place. A police helicopter and ‘various units’ have been deployed, the police said. According to the Eindhovens Dagblad, about 25 police cars were involved in the action. The police helicopter circled above Den Bosch for quite some time.
A spokesman told the newspaper that the chase started when the Range Rover the suspect was driving was spotted by a police camera along a road.
This happened in Limburg after the suspect had entered the Netherlands from abroad. It is not clear what the suspect is wanted for. The Eindhovens Dagblad writes that the police scaled up considerably because the suspect would have run off more often.
Through villages
According to Omroep Brabant, the pursuit also went through villages such as Sint-Michielsgestel and Den Dungen. A spokesperson could not comment further. The Range Rover was heavily damaged, according to local media.
