The actress Michelle Rodriguez played Trudy Chacón in the first installment of Avatar and she is very clear if we will see her again in another installment.

First you have to remember that Trudy sacrifices her life in the final battle of Avatar (2009) to make sure the Na’vi win over the humans trying to take control of Pandora. Now, in a recent interview with Vanity Fair, actress Michelle Rodriguez reveals a conversation she had with James Cameron.
“Dude, when I saw Jim (James Cameron) recently, he said: I was thinking… What if Michelle comes back? A lot of the other characters came back in Avatar 2. I was like: You can’t do that, I died a martyr.”
The actress then listed all the times her dead characters have returned.
“I came back in Resident Evil, I wasn’t supposed to. I came back on Machete, I wasn’t supposed to. I came back as Letty (Fast and Furious saga), I wasn’t supposed to. We can’t do that a fourth time. That would be excessive!”

Her character was an expert pilot who was in charge of transporting scientific teams within Pandora. In the final battle of the first installment she sides with the Na’vi, but her vehicle is no match for Quaritch’s and she dies to give Jake Sully a chance to win the fight.
