What were the best publishers of 2022?
Metacritic published a list of the 45 best video game publishers of 2022, which were ranked based on a points system and various factors, such as the number of releases and their review rating from the press.
“Only publishers with 5 or more different titles released in the past year are included in our rankings. Quite unusually, a major game publisher (rhymes with Microsoft) that was ranked #1 a year ago failed to hit that limit this time around, leaving them unable to defend their title,” Metacritic explained.
That being said, Sony took the top spot for the quality and number of its releases. Metacritic highlighted God of War: Ragnarök and the various ports the company released. Likewise, he assured that his title with the lowest rating was MLB The Show 22 with a 77.
