ROME, 06 MAR – In 2022, tax revenues ascertained on the basis of the criterion of legal competence amounted to 544,528 million euros, with an increase of 48,484 million on 2021 (+9.8%). This was announced by the Ministry of Economy and Finance. The increase in revenue, he specifies, is mainly influenced by: the drag on of the positive effects on revenues that have been determined starting from 2021, by the effects of the extensions and suspensions of the Relaunch and August decrees, by the “effects of the increase in consumer prices , which supported, in particular, the revenue from VAT and the sustained growth of GDP in 2021”.
