In the Marvel Universe we can find an almost infinite variety of villains, antagonists, criminals and other rather vile characterswho in each of the stories belonging to this franchise have managed to do their own thing and frustrate the heroes on more than one occasion.
The popular superhero franchise has shown everything from extremely strong antagonists to rather mediocre and hilarious villains. Among the best-known Marvel criminals, we find nothing more and nothing less than Kang the Conqueror.
This villain was introduced to the UCM in 2021, in the Disney+ series, Loki, and has also participated in the most recent Marvel Studios premiere, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. However, in the Marvel Universe the foundations have been laid to present other evildoers far more threatening than the current villain.
5 Villains More Powerful And Menacing Than Kang The Conqueror
5 Characters More Evil Than Kang That Will Probably Be Introduced To The MCU Soon
The franchise Marvel has created approximately 600+ villains, which have been presented both in comics, as well as in movies, series and other film productions of this company. In the MCU, there are many that are quite popular among fans, such as the Green Goblin, Ultron, Thanos, and the current main antagonist, Kang the Conqueror.
While Kang has been portrayed as a powerful villain coming to take the MCU by storm, Marvel Studios has presented us with various clues and hints that other characters could be introduced that turn out to be much more vile and powerful than Kang The Conqueror.
Chthon
Chthon is one of the more powerful villains than Kang, who could be introduced in the MCU soon.
In the UCM, although the villain does not have a full appearance or participation in the film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, he is mentioned and described by Wong as a demonic being, author of the book Darkhold and founder of the castle where said book was created. In addition to this, this character was apparently the one who made the Scarlet Witch prophecy, as well as being the reason for the great potential for destruction that Wanda has.
These character concepts were drawn from the comics, as Chthon, several centuries after being trapped on Mount Wundagore, was said to infuse a portion of his Chaos Magic power in Wanda’s body at the time of his birth on the mountain.
This with the intention of influencing Wanda’s actions, and that she was the recipient that allowed her to wreak havoc until you escape your imprisonmentthus becoming, for many, the true villain of the film.
Set
Set, the Egyptian god, is another of the villains who turns out to be more powerful than Kang, and could be introduced to the MCU soon.
In the Marvel series Moon Knight, the groundwork was laid for the introduction of another elder god, named Set. In the fourth chapter of this series, Khonshu was imprisoned along with other of his fellow Egyptian gods..
No details have been given about these gods, nor the reasons why they are imprisoned, but this suggests the possibility that the villain and Egyptian god Set could appear in the MCU.
With the introduction of this character to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, you could bring the Serpent Crownan extremely powerful artifact from Marvel Comics, which is seen as a conduit for the return of the god Set.
Mephisto
Another villain more powerful than Kang is Mephisto, who could also be introduced to the MCU.
On many occasions, attempts have been made to introduce this popular and evil villain into the UCM. Fans have made a wide variety of speculations and theories that try to connect Mephisto with the movies Doctor Strange 2, Loki, and even Spider-Man: No Way Home. None of these speculations have forged a true connection to the character, however there have been a way to link Mephisto to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
In the fourth chapter of the She-Hulk series, a character named Donny Blaze opens a portal to a dimension full of demonsin which a girl named Madisynn enters, and spends some offscreen time there.
The fact that there is a kind of hell or underworld in the UCM, leaves the air the possibility of the demonic villain Mephisto being introduced soonbefore Kang is finally defeated.
Annihilus
Annihilus is also one of the stronger villains than Kang the Conqueror, and will probably be introduced in the MCU in the future.
With the season finale of Ms. Marvel, fans got to witness a great hint of the possible introduction of the villain to the UCM, with a clear reference to the Negative Zone, Annihilus’ prison in the comics.
In the episode in question, Kamala Khan, thanks to her bracelet, swapped places with Captain Marvel, recalling a time in a comic where the original Captain Marvel and Rick Jones shared a similar bond. In said comic, by hitting the nega gangs, Rick would be transported to a dimension called “the Negative Zone”while Captain Marvel, who was already trapped there, would take Rick’s place on Earth.
Taking this story as a reference, we could say that Marvel has prepared the ground for the Negative Zone to be introduced, and along with it, the presentation of the great villain Annihilus.
Fuck
Knull, creator of the symbiotes, is another villain stronger than Kang, who could come to the MCU in the future
Knull is another of the quite powerful villains that will probably be introduced soon in the MCU, due to certain references that could link it to Marvel film productions.
This evil character he is the creator of the symbiotes, which in itself gives it an intrinsic connection to Venom. However, it is thanks to his first creation, All-Black the Necrosword, that we can speculate the next introduction of this character to the UCM.
This sword is carried by Gorr the Butcher, and while the MCU did not explain or confirm his character as a symbiote, the way in which this weapon corrupted Gorr supports this connection. It is likely that Marvel decides to deepen the history of this character Coming soon at UCM.
