Marvel could have a big surprise in the Daredevil series. Jeff Sneider, journalist for Above the Line, has shared on the podcast The Hot Mic who has heard that Echo, the character from Alaqua Cox in the UCM, he will appear in the Man Without Fear television series that will be released on Disney +. Great news!
Daredevil: Born Again is one of Marvel’s great projects
This rumor may not surprise many after The Hollywood Reporter recently claimed that Daredevil from Charlie Cox and the Kingpin of Vincent D’Onofrio They will have “key” roles in Echo, the Disney+ series. Apparently, both the Marvel Studios hero and villain will appear in multiple episodes. Apparently, the Hawkeye spin-off will prepare the events of Born Again, which will mark the solo return of Matt Murdock. We will also have Wilson Fisk as an antagonist.
Both were seen in the Echo trailer that was shown in private to attendees of Marvel Studios’ D23 panel in September 2022. Currently, following delays due to troubled development, all six episodes of Echo will premiere in early 2024. Apparently just before Daredevil: Born Again begins its season of 18 episodes next spring.
The UCM narrative plans with ‘Echo’
Marvel has made an effort lately to reinforce the connection between Daredevil and Echo, and has just launched a new comic series starring the two street-smart heroes. This is likely intentional preparation for Matt Murdock and Maya Lopez sharing the screen in Born Again.
After the end of Hawkeye, Echo has unfinished business with Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin after discovering that he was responsible for his father’s death. Obviously, Daredevil already has his own feud with the New York crime boss. That’s what perfectly sets them up to work together through Echo and Born Again to take down Marvel’s greatest villain.
