Even from the top management of the Ducati house there is a blunt rejection.
Marc Marquez will not take part in the Argentine Grand Prix, but continues to be at the center of MotoGP attention due to what happened in Portimao. Paolo Ciabatti, sporting director of Ducati Corse, also spoke about the accident that also involved Miguel Oliveira and Jorge Martin.
“He failed to evaluate braking correctly, and made a dangerous move – Ciabatti said to the microphones of ‘BT Sport’, speaking of Marquez -. With all the respect I have towards Marc, I honestly find a mistake by the kind. I don’t understand, it was really dangerous.”
Ciabatti then lingered on Martin’s race, conditioned by the contact with Marquez. “He had the pace to stay with the leaders, but after the accident he lost positions. Trying to recover, he made a mistake and crashed. A disappointing finish, that’s what I can say”, cut short the Ducati sporting director.
