In the midst of divorce proceedings, Isabel and her family take possession of her mother’s villa in rural Mexico, where they reconnect with María.the lifelong domestic worker, who has a missing sister.
But nothing has been the same since Isabel’s mother left. Now the house is neglected, Isabel and her husband are growing apart, and her children are increasingly worried about them.
