Persija Jakarta’s foreign players, Abdulla Yusuf Helal and Hanno Behrens, are reportedly getting better.
These two Persija foreign players have been absent from defending the Kemayoran Tigers in the last three matches.
Yusuf and Hanno were sick so they couldn’t appear in the match vs Barito Putera, Madura United and Borneo FC. They last appeared in the match vs Bhayangkara FC.
Persija coach, Thomas Doll, told the condition of the striker from Bahrain after undergoing surgery to remove kidney stones in his home country.

“I had contact with Yusuf yesterday. Praise God the operation was successful. I heard that he was in a bit of pain, maybe the effects of the operation are still being felt,” said Thomas, quoted from the club’s official website, Saturday (11/3/2023).
“Now Yusuf is entering the recovery phase to return to his normal condition,” he continued.
Likewise with the Persija midfielder, Hanno Behrens. The player from Germany previously returned to his home country due to an illness he was experiencing that would not heal.
Now he is receiving treatment from doctors in Germany. Thomas hopes that both of them will recover from their current condition.
“Hanno also needs to recover after receiving treatment in Germany. For now they both have to follow the directions of their respective doctors. I hope everything heals and returns to normal,” said Thomas Doll, ending the conversation.
