Alberto Chicote and Ángel have debated about which Almodóvar film would be the winner of the Oscar for the best foreign film of the year 2000. The chef doubted the existence of one of the options, but despite this, he tried to help the contestant on his way to victory: “If I had to do it, I would score that one.”
After marking the title of ‘All about my mother’ as an answer, the golden light illuminated the set and the contestant added 6,000 euros more to the pot, confessing that, thanks to this, he was already somewhat calmer in the program.
It was then that Loles León remembered an anecdote that she lived at a stage in which she was hospitalized and Pedro Almodóvar, who came to visit her, took the opportunity to make a proposal: invite her to the Oscar gala where this same film emerged victorious. That’s how he told it!
