Signed a Memorandum of Understanding. President Casini: “We will involve the Serie A clubs, starting with the youth sectors”
Lega Serie A and Unar (the anti-racism office of the Prime Minister) have signed a memorandum of understanding in order to combat discrimination in football. The signatures were signed by the president of the Lega di A, Lorenzo Casini, and the director of Unar, Mattia Peradotto. “A partnership started with the ‘Keep Racism Out’ campaign to fight racism and all forms of discrimination is being consolidated”, said president Casini, underlining that “in this perspective, it is our intention to increasingly involve managers in this process as well , the coaches and players of Serie A clubs, starting from the youth sectors”.

The protocol “aims to define an effective strategy for the realization of the common interest in preventing and contrasting all forms of discrimination in the world of sport and in particular in the world of football – added director Peradotto -. For this reason we will collaborate in the organization of activities training and awareness-raising initiatives to convey important values such as mutual respect and the value of diversity to the whole community, and in particular to the youngest”.
