As part of the year-long “Pokémon Together” brand campaign, The Pokémon Company International offers Trainers around the world a chance to celebrate: the community is invited to discover and learn more about some exceptional Pokémon featured in its flagship products for the whole of 2023. The first part of the program “Discover Pokémon together” Start today and put the spotlight on Normal-type Pokémon Lechonkwhich made its debut in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet.
To celebrate Lechonk and “Discovering Pokémon Together,” The Pokémon Company International has released a new video that showcases the lovable Pokémon’s connoisseur qualities as he searches for berries in his natural habitat. Fans can learn more about Lechonk at this link.
In addition, Trainers will be able to discover Lechonk as the protagonist in a wide variety of products and events in the games starting today and throughout the month of April 2023.
The release of the Scarlet and Violet expansion of the GCC Pokémon will be accompanied by promotions dedicated to the occasion. Trainers will have the opportunity to discover Lechonk by playing with the brand new expansion Scarlet and Violet from the popular Pokémon TCG, available starting today in booster packs, sets Outstanding Coach and special collections at authorized dealers. Inspired by the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet video games, the new expansion offers an updated key i Pokémon-exa game mechanic based on high HP Pokémon that show off mighty attacks and abilities, and introduces Pokémon-ex Teracristal to the Pokémon TCG.
To celebrate the release of the Scarlet and Violet expansion, from 31 March to 8 June 2023 (subject to availability and while supplies last), Trainers in Italy will have the opportunity to obtain a promo card from Lechonkat participating retailers. In addition, Trainers will be able to add a Lechonk of Flying theratype in Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet with the code obtained at GameStop from March 31st to April 14th. Download codes will only be available in stores while supplies last (no purchase required).
Lechonk themed activities in Pokémon UNITE
To uncover Lechonk in Pokémon UNITE, players can throw a berry among the Lechonks and receive a free Lechonk-themed frame, stickers and other Lechonk-themed items, from 24:00 (UTC) March 30 to 24:00 (UTC) April 17, 2023.
A dedicated channel on Pokémon TV
To celebrate Lechonk’s passion for the juiciest berries, a special channel featuring episodes of the Pokémon animated series dedicated to berries was created on Pokémon TV. Streaming of these episodes is available now until April 14 on the Pokémon TV app, available for mobile, Nintendo Switch, and watch.pokemon.com/it-it.
