BEIRUT – Three Israeli soldiers were injured by a landmine explosion near the border with Lebanon. The incident was revealed by Lebanese media on Tuesday (21/3/2023), reported by Anadolu News Agency.
“The explosion occurred while Israeli bulldozers were digging in the ground at the border town of Ayta Al-Sha’b,” said Hezbollah-affiliated Al-Manar TV channel.
Israeli vehicles and bulldozers reportedly left the area after the explosion.
The Israeli army, for its part, said three soldiers were injured in the blast, including one soldier who was seriously injured.
The military statement said an investigation had been launched into the explosion.
Israel’s Channel 12 said the explosion occurred when an Israeli vehicle hit a landmine near the Lebanese border.
