I would like to play in a team for 2 or 3 years. I’m still under contract with Roma but I think that for I think it’s a closed chapter, they know it too. We have a good relationship. Where would I be now if I’d stayed at Ajax? Another year, or two. Who knows. Maybe I would have ended up on the bench that ‘year, when things went very well in the Champions League, or maybe not. Maybe I would have gone on. It’s hard to say.” Then the final comment: “Honestly I think now I would have done things differently. But in life you make choices and you have to support them.
