Few television series can say that they remain as fresh for more than the years. One of them is undoubtedly South Park, the fun comedy for adults created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone that does not cut a hair when it comes to sharpening any social issue, however controversial it may be.
The plot of the series follows the daily life of the inhabitants of South Park, a remote town in Colorado. The main role falls especially on four children: StanCartman, Kyle and Kenny, the latter with the peculiarity that he always has his face covered with the hood of his coat and is barely understood when he speaks.
However, there have been certain exceptions where Kenny has gotten to show his face, including the hilarious film South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut.
Now, Kenny has shown his face again in South Park neither more nor less than 10 years after the last time.
South Park season 26 could mean a new change in the series
The fifth episode of South Park season 26 once again revealed the face of Kenny, who hasn’t shown his face since season 16.
Kenny’s face was briefly seen when he and Cartman were looking at possible restaurant designs during lunch.. Although part of his face was still hidden by the sunglasses, you can clearly see the face of one of the characters most loved by fans. You can take a look at Kenny’s face below.
Total there have been 12 times that Kenny has revealed his face in South Parkalthough surely this is not the last time we see him in his entirety.
This new season could mean another change of course for the series and return to its origins, that is, make more self-contained episodes and move away from serialization in their plots.
South Park began experimenting with serialization from season 18, where Randy was given a special role, undoubtedly one of the best characters in the series.
This approach caused some division among its audience, as it lost its playful edge as the series focused on longer and more complex season plots.
Even with this, it continues to be one of the most successful series to the point that its expansion until season 30 was confirmed and it will have 14 new original films on Paramount+, so we will have adventures for a while with Kyle, CartmanStan and Kenny, with or without hood.
