After last March 16 Melissa Galindo denounce on their social networks Kalimba for alleged sexual abuse, the singer did so formally and published on her Facebook account Instagram a statement in which he shared the information of the public complaint.
Melissa revealed that she has already taken action against the singer and has initiated criminal proceedings for aggravated sexual abuse.
“We inform you that Melissa Galindo decided to legally denounce her attacker before the corresponding authorities for the crime of aggravated sexual abuse,” reads the document that she shared and that is signed by the law firm Riojas Orozco, Castañón and Associates.
They also asked for support and empathy for Melissa, since they say that she was publicly threatened by Kalimba, who pointed out that she has enough evidence to prove that she is telling lies.
Galindo’s lawyers say they are willing to help other women who have spoken, written and denounced, through social networks, similar situations at the hands of the singer: “We provide support and accompaniment”they added.
What happened between Kalimba and Melissa?
All of this began when Melissa Galindo recounted through a long video message that on two occasions the member of OV7 he touched her without her consent and even insisted that they have sex, something she refused.
After these statements, both Kalimba and his lawyers denied the accusations made by Galindo and announced that they would take legal action for non-material damage, since the famous man had lost several job offers, including the leading role for a play.
Until the night of this Tuesday, neither Kalimba nor his lawyers have ruled on the matter.
