Jorge Lorenzo: “Imagine what I could have done with this Ducati… Marc Marquez has no chance”
In an interview with Marca, former MotoGP centaur Jorge Lorenzo spoke of Ducati’s dominance in the premier class of the world championship: “They are superior and have 8 riders: if Bagnaia doesn’t win, there’s Bastianini, if Martin doesn’t win, there is Bezzecchi…”.
The Majorcan rider admits one regret: “Perhaps I would still be active if I had continued with Ducati. The bike was fast then but didn’t turn well in the corners, but we managed to fine-tune it and in 2018 he started winning. With the current bike , imagine what I could have done… then there was a lot of harmony with Dall’Igna. I could have dueled with Marc Marquez”.
Proposed by the Catalan rider: “Now he can’t do anything, not even Marquez. If your bike is a second behind, you have no chance of winning.”
