The star of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Jonathan Majors, was arrested on Saturday morning. The TMZ medium shared the information, which states that the actor would have attacked a woman near Chelsea in New York City. The charges against Majors include strangulation, assault and harassment.
The actor claims he is innocent, and one of his reps spoke to TMZ to say that Majors “hasn’t done anything wrong. We hope to clear his name and clear this up.” According to TMZ sources, Majors and the alleged victim, who would be the actor’s girlfriend, were in a taxi on Friday night when an argument began between the two.

The alleged story involves the woman confronting Majors about the actor texting another girl, prompting the alleged victim (possibly his girlfriend) to try looking at her phone. The medium comments that this bothered Majors a lot, so the actor ended up slapping her.
TMZ also claims that the woman had marks of the alleged attack all over her body, with a cut behind the ear, and his face flushed. At the moment, The woman is in stable condition at a hospital, and Majors appears to be out of custody..
The New York City Police Department told The Wrap that Majors’ arrest was in response to a domestic dispute and that the actor’s arrest occurred without incident.
