What has the actor of Kang said? Jonathan Majors was arrested yesterday and today he is showing his face to offer a first explanation for what happened.
Jonathan Majors has broken his silence after being jailed. The Marvel actor’s lawyer has spoken on behalf of her client following her arrest on Saturday for an alleged incident of domestic violence.
“My client is completely innocent and it has been proven that he was the victim of an altercation with a woman he knows,” criminal defense attorney Priya Chaudhry told Deadline. “We are rapidly gathering and presenting evidence to the district attorney in the hope that all charges against Jonathan Majors will be dropped imminently.”

Chaudhry went on to state that there is evidence supporting the incident involving Kang’s actor, multi-person witness testimony, as well as two written statements from the woman recanting the domestic incident allegations. Consequently, the charges against Jonathan Majors are expected to be dropped in the next few hours or days. However, nothing is clear at the moment.
“All the evidence shows that Mr. Jonathan Majors is completely innocent and did not assault her at all. Unfortunately, this incident occurred because this woman was going through an emotional crisis, for which she was transferred to a hospital yesterday. The NYPD is required to make an arrest in these situations, and this is the only reason Mr. Majors was arrested. We hope these charges will be dropped soon.”
According to the New York Police Department, the woman told officers that she had been assaulted by the actor. She was taken to the hospital and she was treated for “minor injuries to her head and neck.” The possible charges facing Jonathan Majors are strangulation, assault and harassment.
