The Denver Nuggets basketball players beat the Philadelphia 76ers with some difficulty. Nikola Jokic played a starring role for the home team with his 29th triple-double of the season. The Serbian scored 25 points, 17 rebounds and 12 assists against a team that missed star players Joel Embiid and James Harden.
Embiid was sidelined with a minor calf injury for the play-offs. Harden was already out for the fourth game in a row due to an Achilles tendon injury. Without those two, the ‘Sixers’ made it quite difficult for Denver. The home team led with 20 points in the fourth quarter, but saw that margin shrink to 3 points with half a minute left after a bad period and a dunk from Montrezl Harrell. Two free throws by Jeff Green gave Denver, the leader in the western division, the win. Philadelphia is third in the eastern division and is also sure of the playoffs.
