If uncertainty eats you away, the director of John Wick 4 has given clues about the future of the saga and that of its protagonist, Keanu Reeves
Have you seen ‘John Wick 4’ yet? If not, wait until you see the movie. If you have already enjoyed it, you are most likely asking yourself this question: And now that?
Chapter 4 of the saga is apparently a conclusionWe don’t know if temporary or not, but it leaves us with the feeling that we may not see the protagonist again.
The franchise began back in 2014 with the original film starring Keanu, and has evolved into different sequels, and also, into a spin-off in film format, ‘Ballerina’,
The new film, directed by Len Wiseman and starring the incredible Ana de Armashas the full approval of the director, who wants the creative team to have the freedom to make their own version.
And another spin-off, but this time in serial format, ‘The Continental’, which will premiere in Peacock this year.
In Spain we assume that it will be part of the SkyShowtime catalogsince this platform contains a large part of the catalog of the well-known American content platform.
The series is a prequel set in the 70s and follow a young man Winston Scottinterpreted by Colin Woodell. Lionsgate has plans to continue expanding the Wick universe, and fans can look forward to more action-packed adventures in the future.
But what about the character and the main plot? It’s over?

Stahelski, director of the franchise, has expressed his desire to continue in it. The filmmaker admitted that they are proud of what they have achieved and are flattered that fans want more – and demand more of them!
Stahelski:
“As for John Wick, you’ll never hear Keanu or me say, we’re done”
“We are proud of what we have done, we are flattered that people want to see more, and we want to continue with it and we will be there to help”
For Stahelski, the ‘John Wick’ universe is a place he would love to continue to be involved with. This is what the director had to say in an interview with Deadline:
“I would love to continue to be involved in all aspects of ‘John Wick.’ It’s fun for me. I love this universe. There’s a reason we made four movies: And it’s no other reason that we love this world. It gives us freedom. It gives us a chance to flex those muscles and you can’t help but feel proud when you create something out of nothing and people really like it.”
The franchise has become one of the most successful in the history of action movies, surpassing even others that have been on our screens for much longer, which reinforces the success of this saga.
With the release of ‘John Wick: Chapter 4’ in theaters, fans can enjoy a new installment that aims to be the last. Or not.
